Basic resort with unique layout.
Spent the time at Uitspanoord with my sister who needed a break. Johanna and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. We also had a divine breakfast that is worth every cent. Will definitely go back there!
The calmness and peace of mind you get is just amazing. I always have fun when I'm here and my kids are in awe of this place, mainly for the fish and crabs they catch.

It was very nice to sleep there. We are people who like camping a lot. So being able to spend the night in the caravan felt like camping. We have a disabled son who enjoyed it just as much if he could just sit and relax.

Uitspanoord is a good choice for a weekend stay in Barkly West or surrounding areas. It is located along the river. The service was very good and we felt very welcome.
We really enjoyed the pool and the beautiful garden. We also enjoyed swimming in the pool and sitting by the river. The chalet we stayed in could perhaps be renovated a bit with better electrical equipment, but in the end my mother could watch her favorite stories on the TV in peace in the cottage and we could get a good night's rest.
I tried to negotiate a discount as a pensioner, but they would not. It was the most expensive place we stayed during our recent vacation. However, the room was comfortable and clean. The hostess was also very friendly.
