Guest make use of the communal facilities that include a kitchen, a dining area, and a lounge. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge, cutlery and crockery, pots and pans, tea- and coffee-making facilities, as well as an indoor braai area, and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table.
Guests can relax in the lounge which is equipped with a TV and a cosy fireplace, and opens onto the stoep overlooking the surroundings. Warm outdoor showers are also available for guests to use.
Three outdoor braai areas and a swimming pool are available for guests to use, and secure undercover and fenced parking is available.

Ulger is a special host, with valuable knowledge of the local area. The house was well equipped and accommodated our group of 8 adults with ease. It was very cold, but we slept nice and warm.
Very well met by Ulgar, who was very helpful and informative! Very interesting home, grounds, and decor. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay!
We came as strangers and felt like family the day we drove away! Ulger and Karin are particularly hospitable people who immediately made us feel at home. Their home and property contains the most interesting decor and installations made by Ulger himself and everything has its own story. We were on a flower tour and in the evening we hung out around the hearth with the other guests and exchanged flower stories. There is a lovely farm atmosphere on the site with Dorper sheep grazing under your window, chickens and turkeys roaming freely. You also get very good information about the best flower routes, attractions and places to eat from the host and his helpful wife. Only Ulger's humorous stories make the place worth visiting! We will definitely want to visit Ulla Irene again.

We had a wonderful stay at Ulla Irene during flower season! Our host was incredibly informative, going the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and helped us make the most of our visit. He guided us to the best spots in town so we didn’t miss a thing and even recommended the ideal route for our next destination. His knowledge truly enhanced our trip, making it an unforgettable experience.
Firstly, the owner was very upset and rude that I booked on behalf of my parents-in-law. Said it was unacceptable. Then very rude due to the fact that they did not arrive at the exact time that they said they would. It looks like the experience was not good at all.
What an interesting place! You immediately feel at home. Should you have forgotten something, it is there. The host and wife are so helpful. Definitely worth a visit.
The town is very busy but the guest house is located in a quiet area.
Make sure to spend some time with the owner and ask about his bicycle collection. Also let him take you through the property on a tour to discover the creative ways he build the place.
Owners were friendly and helpful and made us feel at home since we arrived. Excellent organic lifestyle. Delicious self-catering breakfast with freshly laid eggs provided every morning. An option to buy a braai pack which includes 2 tasty salads and bread is very convenient. Got a bottle of red wine on the house. The 100-year-old house has been beautifully restored with a combination of modern, vintage and antique decor. Guest house is very neat and clean. Loved the indoor fireplace.
Had a very comfortable stay, would have liked to stay longer. Always a next time.
