I recently had the pleasure of staying at Val De Vine, and it exceeded all my expectations! The accommodations were impeccable – clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The location is perfect, offering a serene escape while still being conveniently close to local attractions. The surrounding vineyards provided a picturesque backdrop, making every moment special. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The attention to detail in every aspect of the stay was evident, from the luxurious linens to the well-appointed amenities. I highly recommend Val De Vine to anyone looking for a tranquil and luxurious getaway. I can’t wait to return!

Very nice stay. The breakfast area in winter is just invisibly cold.
The stay was okay but the room was not what was expected.
One gets the idea that you are going to have a room in a hotel by a swimming pool, but it is a room in a house that you share with other guests. It feels to me that this was not clearly communicated to us. The toilet was not cleaned properly, it was very disappointing. For the price we paid, we expected more.

The restaurant had a cosy atmosphere and the menu was extensive, yet affordable. Our accommodation was very comfortable. Due to no fault of the hostess, Kim, we had trouble with water pressure and were unable to shower but Kim went the extra mile and beyond to make up for this inconvenience. We will stay at Val de Vine again.
There is one big problem. The access door to the bedrooms must be locked for non-resident guests. I went to try to sleep at 10 o'clock, but the people who visited there until 12 o'clock made so much noise and walked up and down the creaking corridor and talked so loudly that I slept very little.
Did have trouble locking the room door from the inside but I didn't report it. The shower outlet was clogged. I reported it at 11pm and within minutes someone came to repair it.
Beautiful and freindly. Couldn't use the TV, not your normal satellite TV.
The pictures are a bit misleading. Room is very nice and tidy, but quite nice. The room I would say is also placed in a bad place, behind the kitchen at the workers living or working area. At least the place has no loadshedding.
The stay was very uncomfortable. The lady in charge gave my partner an ugly look when he arrived and she didn't even apologise after I told the porter. She seemed more annoyed. The porter or guy that assisted us during our stay wasn't really helpful, took his own time to assist till the next day. We stayed there for 3 nights.
Room was very small and stuffy for what you pay. Area of room is where everyone smokes if you want to walk to the restuarant area and for a pregnant woman it was very uncomfortable to have to walk past the smoking area. The power was out almost all day on Monday which makes it difficult for a business trip.
We enjoyed the passing, but the following needs attention: Hospitality/welcoming of guests. Make sure what is the arrangement with guests for breakfast, for example is the breakfast included in the reservation or not. It is unpleasant to be faced with the same question every morning with the new staff on duty for the day, and in front of other guests. Upgrade of towels.
