The unit is very large, tidy and definitely value for money. The view is like soul food. Very friendly caretaker, and let us stay an extra night without any trouble after our plans changed a bit.
The place was neat and clean with a breathtaking view, I would definitely recommend Twinshells.
Although we basically only stayed for the night, we found the unit at Twinshells very suitable. Neat and tidy with enough space, bedrooms, bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and braai area. The view was stunning.

Unit 2 is quite adequate, basic and spacious. The gas stove is a bonus with loadshedding. Unfortunately the unit is in the middle and TV and chat from both sides was very loud. The view is beautiful and Mande provided us with outdoor chairs and a light for our barbecue. Thank you very much.

Cold tap in kitchen sink non-functional. Airconditioner in upstairs bedroom not functional. Sliding door in upstairs bedroom not locking. Front door lock: Metal frame into which lock bolt engages with requires longer screws so that it is secured in place. Other guests may expect DStv as the satellite dishes are in place. DStv was important for us though.
Accommodation was good.
The duplex units are compact, but clean and tidy. Mandi is a good manager. However, I would like to make a few suggestions: Two of the beds are not quite up to standard (legs fall/slide together, lie downhill). One double and one single bed. The kitchens are sparsely equipped. There were no ordinary knives (only steak knives) in the one apartment, nor a barbecue dish, ice trays, pyrex/serving trays, mats to put hot pots/bowls on a table, wine glasses, etc. not. Some of the kitchen cabinets' doors opened/closed with difficulty and cutlery drawers collapsed. The two apartments are very dark and it is difficult to open the curtains due to too many drapes. There are no bedside lamps and some rooms do not have bedside tables either. A stair rail for the stairs to the bedrooms would also be a great asset.
The accommodation was very pleasant and spacious. The view from balcony is beautiful and sheltered braai area sheltered from windy evenings. Mandy is incredibly helpful and an exceptional person. Thank you very much for all the fishing advice. The surroundings and birdlife are beautiful. Truly a very pleasant experience and stay.
We had a very pleasant stay during our 2 days in Mtunzini. The house is very spacious, clean and has everything that one needs on holiday. It is well maintained and is exactly what you see on the advertisement. We enjoyed our stay and will refer anyone to rent it.
We had a great time, we do not regret booking with Twinshells. Watching the sunrise in the morning, the place is closer to the beach. We loved everything about it, we shall book again.

The breakaway was definitely worth it for my family and I. Mtunzini is beautiful and Twinshells makes it so much more comfortable.
James always responded quickly to emails. The accommodation has plenty of space inside, decent parking behind a remote-controlled gate, and a well-equipped kitchen. I was offered access to braai facilities and the swimming pool. My room had a nice view of native forests and the sea (about 2 km away). The only downside is the lack of WiFi - maybe not important for a regular family trip, but would be useful for people traveling for work.
Comfortable, neat and nice
Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed. The place is nice and clean with a beautiful view. The service workers are very friendly and helpful. Definitely a place we will visit again.
