They were concerned about our safety with the heavy rain, as well as our comfort when we got there and went. The place has everything one needs, and best of all, it was spotless! There is an indoor and outdoor barbecue, which is very convenient. We had a great stay and had a great time. You also went out with peace of mind during the day and in the evenings knew you were safe, with your car parked in front of your door and behind an electric gate. The yard is also nice and spacious and safe for younger children to play. We would definitely like to stay there again and would definitely recommend it.

This was by far the best equipped accommodation, everything as advertised and much more! We were well received and everything was very tidy. Our visit was just pleasant with a clean town and big, clean, white beaches. Staff at businesses friendly. We can recommend Struisbaai and Vidi's.

We had a fantastic 3 days at Vidi's. The space was perfect for our young family. The host and lady were super friendly and we were very comfortable. The house is nice and close to everything. Very pleasant people, the place was clean and tidy with everything you need. Children were happy and they enjoyed the beds in the living room. We were able to braai inside. It was very cold in Struisbaai and the braai made sure we could braai and enjoy the 2 evenings. There were some extra items that one would not normally find at self-catering, such as lots of extra toilet paper, dish soap and hand-washing soap. The place is pretty close to the beach in Struisbaai. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The fact that there were 2 extra beds for children was very convenient. The place is a nice size, not too small but not too big. Definitely worth it if you want to visit L’Agulhas and surrounding areas.

We were very friendly and welcomed on arrival. I was very surprised to walk into a painfully neat apartment. In Vidi's Place, the owners really came into the shoes of a holidaymaker. There is literally everything you could need. Adaptors for each plug and enough to meet all your needs. No need for extra mirror to ride along, plugs are where you need it. In the kitchen, coffee, tea, sugar, milk and the most delicious rusks were served to welcome us. In the room chocolates. The indoor braai was a wonderful bonus, as the evenings were cool. Elvida and Dawie supported us all the way and also told us about places worth visiting in the area. We'll be back Vidi's Place!

It was incredibly fun! Aunt Elvida and her husband are very friendly and hospitable. They made us feel welcome the moment we arrived at the little apartment. The apartment is fully equipped, all you need to remember is food and your towel! Everything is there! The apartment is on the aunt's premises, but completely private. There is no sea view, but you are a 2 minute drive from the sea! It was still one of the most enjoyable holidays!

Elvida sent me directions a few days ahead of time to make sure we got the address of Vidi's Place. Upon our arrival, we were received by both Elvida and her husband. They were so friendly and hospitable and we immediately felt at home. They went through our stay with us to make sure we were satisfied. In the morning they inquired about our well-being and whether everything was still in order. I would recommend Vidi's Place to anyone anytime. I know that I definitely want to go here again.

A very lovely, clean, spacious, private and well maintained place to stay. Lovely garden/braai area. The little tortoise was such a unexpected garden surprise; he made me smile each morning. All amenities included to make your stay very comfy. The bed could do with an upgrade but very clean. Very welcoming reception and amazingly friendly owner/s. They were caring people who actually looked out for our safety as well. We were not harassed in any way. Secure parking and ample home security products installed that would make a person travelling on their own feel very secure. The place actually looks better in real life than on the photos. It was value for money too and very impressed, I would go there again without thinking twice.

The house is cute and everything we needed was there. The kitchen was fully equipped. It was nice with the little ones and they couldn't get out anywhere. And they could play outside. Even though the owners are on the premises you feel as if you have your privacy. Very nice and we will definitely use it again.

It was delicious. The host couple is so nice, and absolutely everything you can think of is in the house. And you are completely private from the main house, with your own garden, barbecue area, washing line and everything. Security is also very good.
