Here are also coffee/tea making facilities and a bar fridge. Also upstairs are the flat screen TV and a mini Hi-Fi. The Lounge area leads onto the balcony with 4-seater patio furniture and a Webber braai. Guests can enjoy the best view in Franschhoek of the surrounding vineyards and mountains.
All bedlinen, towels, soap and shower gel, as well as complimentary tea, coffee and sugar is provided. A free fiber connection is available throughout the cottage.
For summer there is air-conditioning upstairs and a fan downstairs. For winter there are panel heaters both up and downstairs and all beds are equipped with electric blankets.
Parking is quite safe in the turning area of the dead end road in front of the cottage. At an additional cost per night parking in a locked garage can be provided on request.

Both rooms are clean, tidy and well equipped. The host is very friendly and helpful. With your own key, you are free to be on your own schedule. Thanks for a great stay.
We had a convenient stay at Villa Roux and felt very safe, even with parking our car outside in the dead end street. There were some dogs around, but it was generally quiet, especially at night. You can walk down to the main road, but we preferred to go by car, because of the distance. The Cottage is well equipped and has enough space for 4 people, with a double bed and bathroom downstairs and 2 single beds and bathroom upstairs. We only used the downstairs room, but enjoyed very much sitting on the balcony upstairs with its wonderful view. There's a kitchenette downstairs, where we prepared our breakfasts. We would choose Villa Roux again if we return to Franschhoek.
We stayed one night - wished it could have been longer. Delightful place, well located with fabulous views. Well appointed: simple, clean, fresh feel and look. Everything one needs for a comfortable stay. And a very warm, helpful hostess, friendly resident dog who did not bark at us, and a bird-filled garden. we loved the walk into the town along the free belt next to the reservoir.
Friendly reception when we arrived. Chatted with the kiks and made us feel at home.
