We had a peaceful stay at Villa Selati Gastehuis. They have friendly staff. Our rooms were cleaned daily. Bottled water was supplied daily as well. The one thing they can improve on is changing towels daily like they do with water. The pool was operational, but not as clean as expected. They have a lovely lapa with a built-in braai, and they provide wood for free, which I think was a great convenience. All in all, it was a good stay.
The stay was enjoyable and the place is very clean.
Lovely place. Clean and tidy. They do use solar geysers. Unfortunately I didn't have hot water because it was raining and cloudy.
Was a group of 10 people for a wedding. They bought a big TV especially for the Rugby World Cup. And made a place where everyone could visit and watch: Very good service. 5 stars. Sorry the pool was unusable, but the rest was great. Was fine - thanks for the arrangements. Had a great time.

We were a few people who went to see a show in Carltonville. The wife and I slept over and the rest drove back to Randfontein. The 1 pair of people hit a pothole and lost a wheel. Selati made a plan for us at 23:00 that night and got another room ready for the friends who got stuck. No problem and very helpful. Would definitely recommend Selati for the accommodation, as well as the capacity to help out.
Too bad some of the other guests were incredibly noisy and kept us from sleeping. Massive beautiful tidy room and massive bathroom with bath and shower!!! Beautiful furniture. Nice good bed. Lacks a sink in the kitchen area. Coffee was cheap and sugar was too little. Service was good.
Aircon was not working properly. TV didn't work.

Dirty room, no wall plugs for bedside lamps, dirty drinking glass, only 1 towel, broken toilet, dirty shower, broken bed leg, holes in walls. Guests who make noise early in the morning. Not worth R850 at all. Luckily we were given another room after we complained. Why rent out such a room in the first place?

Well appointed place. Neat and clean. Very friendly reception.
The stay was pleasant, but we did not sleep over after a function. It met our requirements.
Room clean and tidy. Beds very comfortable. Pillows a bit mushy. No container in shower for soaps and shampoos. Reception person was not on site upon arrival. We had to wait about 10 minutes before she arrived. And on top of that the register was full - I had to write on the back of another person's form - not professional. Breakfast is not served on Sundays - no mention of it on the website.
