Visarend's Roep is in Marloth Park which borders the southern part of the Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga. Marloth Park is known for the fact that giraffes, kudus, zebras, blue wildebeest, warthogs, impalas, duikers, bushbucks and many other small game regularly move between the houses. Marloth Park also boasts lovely sunsets over the river, the roar of the lions in the Kruger National Park in the background and the characteristic call of the osprey.
Accommodation is available in a two-bedroom self-catering house with a loft area. The house sleeps 8 guests, including children, preferably 4 adults and 4 children, but a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children can be accommodated. There are 2 bedrooms with air conditioning and each has a double bed. The loft area has a double bed and 2 single beds. This area leads to a wooden deck with a beautiful view of the unspoiled nature. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin.
Linen and towels are provided, but guests must bring their own swimming towels.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, fridge-freezer, microwave oven, pots, pans, tea and coffee-making facilities, cutlery and crockery. The lounge area has comfortable seating and a TV. Guests must please bring their own decoder and smart card.

Beautiful place with everything you might need for a visit, spotlessly clean. Many animals came to visit. Lovely cool place with all the air conditioners. The pool is one of the best in Marloth. In the evening, the place looks like a fairy tale with the lights around the pool. Add to this the garden irrigation and water drops look magically beautiful in the pool. So sorry we couldn't visit even longer. Would love to come again in the future. Furthermore, Martie keeps you informed of all the important information and "sightings" around Marloth. Thank you very much for the lovely visit.
Beautiful place, fully equipped. Allow for load shedding and water shortage. Great time on the stoep. Swimming pool was a welcome amenity. Martie was very hospitable. Will definitely go back again and recommend the place wholeheartedly.
We had a great time. Martie is a hostess 1000! So many animals came to visit. The location was very well located - not too far from the pub, shopping center and lookout tower, yet far enough to experience the quiet.
Osprey's Call is everything we wanted and more. Everything was tidy and provision was also made for load shedding. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything. Martie was in WhatsApp connection with me the whole time and kept me informed of arrangements. Lots of wildlife came to say hello. She even arranged for a bale of fodder and a bag of pills to attract and feed the animals.

Beautiful little house in what feels like the wilderness! Animals all around you, but for no reason do you feel threatened at all. The management was great, the service very good and communication excellent. The cottage is perfect for a small or larger family, maybe 2 or three couples with small children will also be able to stay here (place for 8 people). For me, there was nothing better than cooling off in the pool while the kudus and wildebeest are hanging out right next to you (behind a fence) and the fire burning on the porch! Will go there again tomorrow if possible.

Beautiful, peaceful place, but in future will only book during week. Few houses down, crowd moved in on Friday and partied, music and all. They were not there for the nature and animals that Marloth Park is well known for, pity.
We had such a nice stay. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything. Lots of wildlife came to say hello and the children really enjoyed the nice big pool. I will definitely be staying my Osprey's Call again! The owners have a heart of gold and are very friendly!

Apart from excellent information from Martie and Etiènne, this is one of the best equipped houses. Exquisite accommodation and everything you could ask for in terms of location and relaxation. Highly recommendable stay.
Osprey's Roep is a very pleasant place. Many animals show up to get food. The naps are quite a bonus. The outside area is very comfortable and people have a lot of fun around the fire. The covered braai is very handy because it was raining when we were there and we could still braai. The lights installed for the load shedding help a lot, luckily there is a kettle for the gas stove to make a coffee if the power is out.
It's so neat and you can see it right away with all the lights around you. Martie is very helpful and very cute. We really enjoyed it, especially the nights! I will definitely go back.

It is a beautiful, well-equipped place and very tidy. The 3 air conditioners were absolute lifesavers as it was very hot weather. Our hostess went to great lengths to make sure everything was right. She even arranged for a bale of fodder and a bag of pills to attract and feed the animals. Thank you very much, Martie. We will go again for sure.

Many animals came to visit every day and we also enjoyed the swimming pool during the hot days. The neat, well-equipped house made us feel at home. A lovely patio and barbecue area with a swimming pool together with the many wildlife that came to visit was more than we expected.
Quiet, neat place, everything you need for relaxing in the forest.
Everything that you could need was available. Outside area is fenced-in which made me feel safer, but not so closed-up that you couldn't see the animals. A lot of animals came to say hi and it was lovely to sit in the early morning and listen to all the animal sounds.
The place was fantastic. We will definitely stay there again in the year. The children enjoyed it so much with all the little goats who come to say hello and night owls who come to visit every evening. What makes everything better is that the owner let us know every day if the lions, buffaloes and other animals were at Marlothpark's boundary wire. So delicious.
Fish Eagle's Roep, was skeptical about sleeping over in another house during Covid19, but was very clean and tidy. Lovely entertainment area and ideal place for children with fenced pool area. Well equipped.

It's safe and spacious, you don't look into the neighbours' faces when you turn around. The place is comfortable and not too big, so cleaning is quick. Wildlife park is around your house and the Kruger is very close. I can recommend it to anyone.
Truly a little paradise, with the goats that just drop by. Had a great time around the barbecue fires and even cooled off in the pool. We definitely recommend Ospreys Call.
Very nice place with everything you need. Different animals come to visit you daily. Just watch out for the monkeys who are very resourceful, so keep windows and doors closed. We had a peaceful time there and look forward to the next visit.

The environment is beautiful with the animals on your doorstep. A day trip to the Kruger National Park is a must with the game park just around the corner. If you like walking, there are kilometers of safe dirt roads to walk between the houses or all along the river.

Visarend's Call was a wonderful getaway that met all our requirements. The owner sent us all the information before our departure which greatly facilitated the arrival. The bush house is beautiful and it is spotlessly clean and very neat. We also really enjoyed the air conditioning and the pool. We also went to visit the park which was a short drive from the house. We would definitely recommend Visarend's Roep.

Baie skoon en netjies, alles is daar wat 'n mens nodig het, baie goeie ontvangs van eienaar al was dit nie in persoon nie maar verskeie SMS om te bevestig of alles reg is, die opsigter was ook wonderlik, ons het n probleem gehad met die geiser, het haar gekontak en sy het dit onmiddellik uit gesorteer.
We highly recommend Osprey's Call. The house is clean, tidy and fully equipped for 8 people. The location is perfect for exploring the park from there. It's like a home in the woods with all the comforts that home has to offer. Also getting and handing back the keys is excellent and knowing that Field Security is just a phone call away.
