21 guests' feedbackWe had a great stay and there are wonderful hiking trails. The WiFi reception was just not good because we couldn't connect to it and only found out afterwards that we had to be at the office environment for the reception, but otherwise everything was nice and quiet on the farm.
Volmoed is a breathtaking, beautiful place and will definitely stay again. I'm only sorry I couldn't stay longer.

Staff is very welcoming. House was very neat and met all needs. Break away was just too short. Plan to go back again.
Overall I was satisfied with my stay at Volmoed, it was very comfortable, clean and cosy, with the help of loadshedding at night and some windy rainy nights, the fireplace made the place extra cosy. Only negative comment I have, is the Wi-Fi was not working, but I think that's currently busy being sorted out, other then that 5/5. Thank you Cherine and Volmoed, service was excellent.
Volmoed is a nice little place and simple but well equipped. Could sleep comfortably and clean drinking water was provided. A good gas geyser made for a nice hot shower on a cold autumn morning. Located in a quiet and beautiful area.

This is a typical farm setup. We stayed in the Old Farm House. Lovely farmhouse feel with everything you need inside. It is self catering so bring what you need. Nice barbecue on the porch if you want to barbecue. Remember double plugs. Maybe not for you if you like the glamor of hotels. Beautiful nature around you.
I was only there in the evenings but it was comfortable and had all the amenities I needed.
Spacious cottage on lovely farm. Children loved the opportunity to milk Jersey cows, and we all enjoyed the hike to the waterfall.

Accommodation looks very different in advertising than reality. The Grace house we stayed in was like TV show "space"!

I loved the retreat and rest and nature was fantastic. Loved the accommodation and waterfall was beautiful. What a quiet wonderful retreat with friendly, helpful accommodating staff.
We spent 3 wonderful days on the farm, walking amongst the fynbos, riding our bikes, and relaxing in the well-maintained/leafy gardens. The highlight for our 5-year-old daughter was milking the cows which happen every morning. All the employees are super friendly and are available to assist if required.
Everything was very neat. There was everything I needed to relax. I could walk around and enjoy nature. It's a beautiful, peaceful environment.
