Really nice stay, would definitely recommend, the nice garden and horses almost had our baby's attention. Thank you very much for the delicious sourdough bread you made for us and for keeping the place so neat and clean. Will definitely use the braai facilities next time too. Unit is close to Stellenbosch, only a few minutes drive. Nice and cuddly bedding, with extra blankets, warm blankets and heating in the rooms - not something we always get at other places.
The place was beautiful, neat and clean. There was coffee, tea, milk, sugar and a delicious fresh sourdough bread on the table. Thank you very much, we had a wonderful stay.
Great stay! The horses outside also gave a rural effect. The roar of the lions and the tigers was also special.

If we are ever in the Stellenbosch area again, we will not stay anywhere else. Vredenheim is a beautiful wine farm with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. It is ideally located for visiting wine farms and Stellenbosch, and the farm's horses walking around the cottage are too beautiful. We also enjoyed the roar of the lions. The house itself is perfectly equipped and wonderfully cozy in the winter with the wall heaters and air conditioning. Extras such as the delicious hand washing soap, hand cream and Dove soap in the bathroom, as well as milk and ice in the fridge did not go unnoticed. The home-baked sourdough bread was also delicious. I can also recommend the Vredenheim Pinotage wine.

Beautiful guest house, neat and clean, close to cellars and town, very safe and the view of the horses is a big bonus.
Lovely location and great communication. I really appreciated the host's help with returning a forgotten item to us. However, there is mould in places, so beware if you have mould allergies. Also, WiFi in the house is not available during loadshedding.
The ceiling of the cottage can be painted. She brought us her own hair dryer, so one in the house would be fine. We couldn't get the TV to work. Other than that, had a nice stay.
We had a great stay, beautiful farm and very peaceful and quiet. House may just need a little maintenance on the outside. Inside it is nice, clean and tidy.

We would recommend Vredenheim but warn them about the flies. The air conditioning is also not functioning correctly.
Mari, the owner of Vredenheim, contacted me and explained about their water problem. She arranged other accommodation for us and paid the additional costs herself. Wonderful service. I would recommend them anytime!
We had a great time at M'Lord's. The location is ideal and close to Stellenbosch for a quick visit in Andringastraat or even just to enjoy the beauty of Vredenheim Farm! There were little things short like a broom and salt and pepper, but this did not detract from the nice beds and comfort of the unit.

We were very happy with our stay in this very cute guest house surrounded by farmland. There were two cows and a donkey in a pen right next to our valley. Amenities were great, just what you need. Great location, great views, nice fireplace in the garden. Overall lovely stay. Highly recommend it!

Lovely setting with gorgeous views. Pity we didn't know about the restaurant adjacent to the accommodation to go for breakfast. It would be nice to have chairs to sit outside as it is so beautiful under the trees on the side of the house to watch the horses and see the mountains.

Well located with everything you need. Power failure was inconvenient and without an inverter we had to live without power.
The cottage is well equipped and it is neat and tidy. The setting around the cottage is very calming and relaxing.
It can only be described as a Garden of Eden️. Lekker slaap is so efficient, organized and professional. Absolutely loved our stay.

The sms communication was great. Was kept informed the whole time. Very friendly welcome. Unit was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Suggestion: Maybe just a biscuit with the coffee. I was damn hungry when I got there. But the restaurant's food was also great.

It's a very nice and tidy two-bedroom house right next to Vredenheim. Ideal for children as there is plenty for them to do with the Cats Park next door and nice green grass at Hudsons, within walking distance.
On arrival we had to collect the key from the wine tasting room. It was already closed and we had to walk around and ask. On arrival at the apartment we were met before we went in, and asked if everything was ok. We weren't inside yet so couldn't really answer. The shower faucet was connected incorrectly (hot and cold swapped), with the result that quite a lot of water was wasted before we realized it. We got no indication of what the WiFi password could be. We also didn't want to call/bother anyone later that night when we got back from dinner. One bedside lamp did not work. Accommodation was also nice and comfortable. Very pretty. When we left the next morning, we were told to return the key to the hall again. We would also receive breakfast because it was included in the price. At the restaurant, the staff were not helpful at all and instead wanted to avoid us. Everything still seemed closed and no one as if they were expecting guests. After I asked around who could help us, my question to the manager was, are you ready for breakfast yet, and he said no. Exactly like that. We couldn't really wait long because we would miss our flight, I then wanted to give him the key, to which he said I should go and put it in the next room. I then did so. I will not refer anyone, for the price one would expect more customer service and care/care/preparation. For a few rand more we received 5-star accommodation at Spier, 2km away, the night before.
Unfortunately, I cannot give full feedback on this, as I discussed it on behalf of one of our professors. I asked him and he was very impressed - so this is second hand feedback only.
The unit was beautiful and tidy. We had a very comfortable stay there. It is located on the farm Vredenheim and the farm itself is wonderful. The facilities on the farm are fantastic. From the wine tasting, to the restaurant to the big cats. The customer service is exceptional. It was so amazing to wake up on a wine farm and hear the lions roaring! I would gladly recommend Vredenheim Guesthouse.

Two days stay on the beautiful farm. Mari went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Even arranged a camping hut and even delivered toys that were left behind to our breakfast table after check-out. Breakfast with ceiling amount at Landgoed's restaurant Hudsons with good variety was quite enough and tasty.
