Nice time around the fireplace and delicious dinner and breakfast.
My wife and I had very nice and of course very tasty meals. More than enough and well prepared. If you get up from the table hungry, something is wrong. The hospitality of Willem and Erna was top notch. Willem's knowledge amazed me regarding the local history and environment. And just in general. Thanks for the nice chat and kindness. I would definitely recommend Waaidam.
If you want to rest this is the place for you. Nice farm life, clean air and quiet. Food is very tasty and tasty. The staff go out of their way to welcome you and make you feel welcome. Thank you guys! May this gem grow into a success.

We needed a place to spend the night. We were received hospitably, could relax in lovely surroundings. We will spend the night again at Waaidam in the future.
The guest farm has a lot of character and a cozy log fire in the dining room. The rooms are neat, but not really set up for "self-catering". Breakfast and dinner available on request.
The stars were breathtaking. It was quiet and tidy. The resort just a short distance from the main road on dirt road. However, I was not in a hurry and Google Maps was sure of the directions and the road was not bad for dirt road.

We had a great time at Waaidam. The owner is friendly and chats well. The accommodation units are small, but very neat.
Working farm with very friendly and helpful staff. Quite simple and basic. Reasonable prices for accommodation, food and drinks. Delicious home made meals and large portions.

We were welcomed so warmly, we felt immediately like we were staying with family. The accommodation was comfortable and had access to a fridge, microwave as well as kettles for tea and coffee. The food was fabulous and plentiful. Our son had a wonderful time and there was lots of him to do. We had a small puppy with us which was not a problem either. We will definitely be back for a longer stay. Willem, Thelma and Wessel were terrific hosts.
If you like a nice and peaceful farm atmosphere, Waaidam is just the right place. Nice clean and tidy accommodation. Willem's historical knowledge of the area is amazing and we could listen for hours to all the anecdotes of bygone days. The optional breakfast was more than enough and also dirt cheap.
