Our stay was fine, our main concern was cleanliness.
The tent was very clean and tidy. Everything needed was there. But definitely "rustic". Owners very friendly and helpful. A bit far out of town but peaceful there on the farm. There was internet coverage which was nice for me to be able to work too. Could walk far. Not for people who expect luxury, because it's a tent camp. Owner may just open more space between the trees and erect deck near the water for fishing. We felt safe the whole time.
The cabin is big enough but also small enough that you feel secluded. Wine and dined my lady here and she was over the moon with everything and best of all, she had no idea where we were going.
The only improvement I could suggest, is more signage to get there. If you don't have a GPS or have looked at the maps properly, you will battle to find the place. Otherwise 100% great place, even my dog had a blast.
Will definitely visit there again.
If you are looking for 5 star luxury then this is not the place to go to. If you love camping and the outdoors, you cannot ask for more. If you are looking for a bush retreat glamping, then look no further. Wake up with the birds and the sun shining straight into your tent, and listen to the rapids after they have gone over the weir, Braai on the deck, coffee on the deck and watch the water in the Teebus River go by. Spend the day reading your book, walk along to the weir, and if you are brave enough, go for a swim there. Watch the prolific birdlife in the reeds, and the ducks on the river. The perfect place for some good R&R.
Quiet farm atmosphere with the river in front of your door.
The "bathroom" was a little "rustic". We were not sure whether we could drink the water and the bed was incredibily hard. Overall, over priced for what was on offer.
The tents are fantastic and well equipped with everything you could need. The check-in process was seamless.
The place was very beautiful! The dogs enjoyed it! Fish bit! And we ate and slept well!

Lovely accommodation on a working dairy farm with horses. We found the accommodation pleasant and affordable and the host friendly without being aver bearing - the way we like it. Will stay again.
