87 guests' feedbackThis is the nicest unit on the West Coast. You just walk down the porch and a few steps, and you are at the water. We sat delightfully on the stoep and said goodbye to Table Mountain. The unit is big, tidy and has everything you need is there.
Even though it was cold and rainy, it was a great experience! You wake up every morning with the sea in your ears and your morning coffee with a mountain and sea view! We had an amazing few days!

If you are afraid of the Cape wind, sit on the beach in Watersedge 3. It is literally on the beach and has the most beautiful view of Table Mountain.

Unfortunately, no inverter or battery back up when load shedding. No tea or coffee, sugar supplied either, which is disappointing given the price.
Stay was ok. Pictures are not the same as in the unit. Quality of furniture is not the same. Enough equipment in the kitchen. TV in bedroom not working 100%. No hair dryer.
We had a problem with the grill and the wind as there is no screen to keep the coals from blowing around. The apartment above our dog barked all day because there were no people.

Our stay was unbeatable, with beautiful views of the sea and Table Mountain. Sleeping facilities were great. The unit is well maintained and in a neat safe complex near good restaurants and other shops.
Watersedge 3 was a neat, well equipped unit and spacious! We could sit on the porch while the kids climbed on the rocks. The direct access to the beach and rocks was a bonus. It was private and we will definitely stay there again. The owners made sure there were enough blankets for the approaching cold front!
Watersedge 3 is truly such a peaceful place. Not too big, not too small. Exactly what you want on vacation. Has all the "utensils" in the kitchen that you need. The "milk frother" was my children's highlight. Little things like that make a big difference. Airfryer was also a great addition. Enough blankets for the cold evenings. Even the WiFi and selective lights worked during load shedding. I would recommend the place anytime and I'll be back again in October!

Watersedge 3 once again met all our needs; A home away from home, with a breathtaking sea view. The cheeky hummingbird in the courtyard only added to the atmosphere! Thank you very much for the lovely stay, which made a hard work week lighter. We will be back again soon!
Fantastic views and location. Comfortable enough. Looks like the Owner left in a hurry. The owner's Personal possession was still laying around. The cupboards are all marked private. No place for guests to pack away their things as all cupboards are marked private in the living area. No place in the kitchen for guests to pack away groceries either. The kitchen cupboard that isn't locked, is very dirty. Pots and pans were dirty. No dustbin bags, cleaning, drying clothes or toilet paper in this unit. The cupboard space in bedroom 2 is shared with the vacuum cleaner. The owner should be guided as to what is expected from a vacation rental. This place has wonderful potential.
Only the braai facilities are a bit uncomfortable with the Weber and no wood braai is allowed.

The view of the sea was the first thing that caught my eye through the sliding door. It's peace and quiet time away from our busy days was special.

Everything was in unit that we needed. Beach and restaurants are within walking distance and we felt safe enough to just walk. The most beautiful view of Robben Island and Table Mountain.
The apartment has the most beautiful view and you can enjoy Table Mountain and the sea even from your couch. Very comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen. Walking distance from all the restaurants. Secure "basement" parking. Although this was not a problem for us, I will say that it would be difficult for older people to carry luggage in and out of the car as there is no lift. We really enjoyed it and would love to stay here again!
Quiet, safe and beautiful neighborhood. It is a luxury complex with tight security and covered parking. Unfortunately there are only stairs to the unit. The unit is fully furnished and beds very comfortable and large. Beautiful sea view and easy access to beach. The unit needs some attention, especially in terms of broken items in the kitchen, cleaning and painting of the rusted windows. Still had a very nice stay.
It is a lovely place and we really loved it. There was just one thing that wasn't nice and that was the fish smell in the apartment that was the only thing we didn't enjoy but other then that it was stunning.
Would just prefer cutlery to be more than 4 each. We also just prefer that our holiday accommodation is not in someone's home that they live in full time, feels like you are staying in someone's space. Personal choice.

Watersedge 3 is incredibly well located, not only do you have a perfect view of Table Mountain, but when the wind blows or it rains, you can easily keep the doors open. The service and communication was fantastic, with secure parking and direct access to the beach, what more could you ask for?

The unit is very comfortable and has everything you need. The main bedroom's door to the outside does not work and for the hot weather in the Cape this week it would have helped a lot if the door could open. The bathroom in the master bedroom's toilet seat is also not 100%. It is a very nice clean place and we will definitely use it again on a next visit to the Cape.

Would love to have an extra bunch of keys because one can't go in and out without keys. Very neat and clean and good value for money.
Neat and clean and it's nice that it is right by the ocean. We just couldn't get a key for the main bedroom's sliding door - which was a pity. A fan in the bedrooms will also be good, especially in summer.
The unit is wonderfully located, however, there are a few things that need attention. One expects better for the costs. The living area and kitchen are very well equipped. The biggest disappointment is that the room door that opens onto the seafront can't open at all!

Is well located and safe with secure parking. However, braai rusted through, grates rusted and dirty, braai unusable and spilling coals and ashes on porch. Stove without gas. For the price, owners could put more effort and make sure everything is usable!
It was a pleasure to stay at Watersedge. It was cosy and neat and I felt secure on the premises. The view was absolutely lovely, and it was a pleasure to wake up every morning to the sound of the waves breaking on the shore.
My husband and I have stayed at Waterberge 3 3 times. It is a very neat, peaceful apartment with a breathtaking view of the sea and Table Mountain. It is very private and the most beautiful sunset. I would like to stay there again every year when I go on vacation. Had very friendly service and was definitely worth booking there.

The location was really good. The apartment was basic though. We found the toilet seat broken, which the cleaner should have reported. I reported and it was fixed immediately though. What I did not like it the bathroom in the master bedroom. Firstly, there is no shower door/curtain, and there is only a small ledge that must prevent the shower from leaking. At each shower the water flowed over this edge, making the floor very wet. The tiles were extremely slippery when wet, so definitely a slipping edge. The other problem that the bathroom is not separated from the bedroom (no door) so you are basically toilteting in the bedroom. This is not very hygienic and a reason for me not to book it again. The bathroom should be separated from the bedroom.

Never have I had such a total sea experience, with no man-made sounds, in total safety with wonderful amenities.
We enjoyed our stay at Watersedge 3 a lot, it was just too short. The unit is very neat and had everything we needed. The unit is in an absolute paradise, you just want to sit outside the whole day and admire the view. The fact that the complex has a beautiful swimming pool is a bonus. Will definitely book Watersedge 3 again, but for a much longer time. The price for the unit is a bit on the expensive side, but the accommodation is worth every cent.

The location is good and there are beautiful views of Table Mountain and the sea. But the unit shows much neglect and the tidiness and hygiene need urgent attention. We discussed it with the owner and she said we should look for a different place to stay if we are not happy with Watersedge. It was already late so it would have been difficult for us to find a different place at such short notice, she could also see that we were tired after the long drive. The unit isn't cheap, we don't mind paying but then we want value. Hygiene and neatness should be a given it is not negiotable.
I stayed in Watersedge with my family for 3 nights. We had a great time and the location could not have been more perfect. I would recommend that there is a booklet that explains how the remote control, keys, etc. work. The apartment is not luxurious, but spacious. The rooms are neat, the decor appropriate and the braai place practical. Ideal for a nice break by the sea. We had a great time and would highly recommend it.
