There is secure, free parking with an excellent alarm system. No TV, but WiFi makes everything possible.
Gansbaai offers guests a variety of restaurants, as well as various activities and attractions such as the Danger Point Lighthouse, the Duiwelsgat or Fynbos Hiking Trails, and shark cage diving. Come and watch the whales in the bay from the apartment.

Very safe and peaceful place to stay. Stairs quite a challenge for older persons, as well as if you have quite a lot of luggage. The unit is neat and well equipped. Gansbaai and surrounding beach areas are beautiful, wish we had more time to see more of the area.

Staying in this self-catering apartment feels like a homecoming. The owners, Andre and Judith, are warm and welcoming and immediately made me feel welcome. The apartment has an excellent location and a nice view of the sea. A safe bay is within walking distance and it's surrounded by beautiful scenery. The apartment is neat, comfortable and well equipped. There are many beautiful holiday destinations nearby that can be explored.

We were very well received and the owners are very friendly. They gave good information about the town and told about places worth seeing. The apartment is very comfortable and clean and would recommend it.
Beautiful place with nice sea view. Neat and well equipped unit. Feels like home. Very safe. The uncle helped us a lot with information so that we could make the most of our stay in Gansbaai.
Our usual accommodation was unavailable. Whale of a Time was the alternative. The place is perfect for 2 people, it is a spacious open plan room, lounge and kitchen. Not cramped at all. The bathroom is separate and there is a nice large veranda with a kettle braai and partial sea view. We would stay there again.
I would only suggest that visitors be warned that the unit's staircase is very very steep and dangerous. The owner himself was not willing to get on it. For young people this is certainly no problem, but for older people it is for sure, especially when all your luggage has to be carried up and down again.
From our arrival, our host made sure we were helped, everything was kindly explained to us and there was even a mug of milk in the fridge for that first cup of coffee. The little apartment has a beautiful view of the sea and is well equipped in the kitchen.
André and Judith are very hospitable. We can confidently recommend their place to stay. It's neat, clean and well equipped. We would love to stay there longer in the future.

Upon our arrival, Andre Voster who is the host welcomed us very warmly. We got complimentary coffee and biscuits which were delicious. The place to stay was clean and tidy and the peaceful feeling just came over you.

Very nice accommodation, people were very friendly. Stayed until a Monday, was a bit noisy in the morning as the dogs were barking and someone was sounded like working in the garden. The rest was peaceful. Oven did not work, could not bake anything. Alarm was a bit of a pain being put on before we went to bed. Went off while we were getting something out the car.
Directions were spot on. Host Andre is very friendly and informative about what to do. Tastefully clean little place. Sat on little balcony enjoying amazing view. My dachshund Maggie loved that she could come with.
