The second bathroom is a separate private bathroom with a bath and shower. Downstairs there is a spacious open-plan lounge with a double sleeper couch and a fully equipped kitchen. Leading out from the open plan lounge area there is a sheltered patio area with comfortable couches, 6 seater table and gas braai facilities. The outside area has a beautiful wooden deck swimming pool area, where guests can enjoy the spectacular bushveld surroundings and an open fire boma. This unit is solar powered.
This unit has undercover parking for 2 vehicles and is serviced daily. Activities at the lodge include game drives, mountain bike trails, bass fishing (catch and release) and bird watching. You can experience the Africa bushveld at its best with more than 12 species of plains game to include sable, impala, giraffe, waterbuck, rooihartebeest, springbuck, gemsbuck, zebra, ostrich, eland, etc.
Self drives can be done in guests own vehicles since 90% of the roads is accessible by a normal sedan and all the roads by means of 2 x 4 bakkie.

24 guests' feedbackThere was a problem with the gas geysers in the showers and the pool was green. But besides that, it was a fantastic stay. Quiet and so peaceful. Loved doing our own game drives. A real gem!
Very nice, beautiful and peaceful.
Stay was awesome but we booked this place because of the lions next to the house. Only when we got there did we find out there are no lions. Kids and wife were very disappointed and we left a day earlier.
The weekend getaway was incredibly fun at Wild Game Lodge. The place was clean and tidy. There was everything one could think of that was needed in the kitchen. The tranquility and fresh air makes one feel like the new year again. The roar of the lions in the background gives you a new respect for nature. We also saw a lot of wildlife as well as the lions that come to peek every now and then when they hear the sound of the feed truck. We plan to visit again soon.
We had a wonderful stay at the lodge. In the middle of the forest with animals all around us. Very neat and well equipped.
The location was ideal for us, the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. There was wood available for an additional fee and we could make a fire. We enjoyed seeing the giraffes and other small game and listening to the lions in the evening. Unfortunately the unit did not meet our requirements and I cannot recommend it. We were only made aware upon our arrival that the unit relies on solar power and since the weather was involved we had no electricity from Saturday evening. There is maintenance work to be done on blinds and other items in the bathroom. There is no WiFi or television available. There are not enough power points available and the unit was not serviced every day as indicated on the website.
This was the best breakaway in the bush. Farm is the very best maintained. All the animals are in good condition. Thanks, it was wonderful.
The private location of the lodge with everything you need and located in a game camp is a perfect stopover for travelers.
Not only accommodation but also wildlife viewing with lions.
Me, my husband and 4-year-old granddaughter had a wonderful time in this neat, well-equipped gem surrounded by nature. It was wonderful to hear the lions' roar at night and see them stretching out from the garden at their watering hole during the day. Feeding the lions was also a big highlight! While the little one and I were swimming, the wildlife kept coming to drink water and little Jadia really enjoyed this animal land. Thank you so much Hannetjie that we could share this kingdom with you. Many thanks also to Frikkie and Willie who took care so well that our visit was special and the campfire could keep burning with all the wood arriving. We will definitely visit again and bring the rest of our family.
Beds and bedding neat and clean. Everything you need is provided in the kitchen. Nice to walk around on the farm and see all the wildlife. It felt so good to hear the lions every morning and evening. The silence and the bird life were highlights. Very good service received by Frikkie who was able to explain how everything works. Thank you Hannetjie for kindness throughout when we had questions.

Never got so close to such a variety of wildlife, it was unforgettable. Everything was neat and well appointed.
A very beautiful lodge set in the middle of beautiful bushveld. With the waterhole in front of the lodge inviting many different types of wild animals to frequent the area.
Our stay at @Wild Game Lodge was wonderful. Check-in and check-out is easy and convenient. Communication with the owners is also quick and easy. The accommodation is neat and clean and very well equipped. It was great to be able to watch all the animals from the comfort of the veranda. The property is safe and we could fully enjoy nature without worry.

A gem of a place on my back porch. If you want to spend alone time with your family without other people around you shouting and texting, this is the place to visit. Here you can rediscover yourself and your life partner and regain perspective on life. Absolutely fantastic if you like nature, privacy and campfire walks.

Words cannot describe how beautiful the place is. You have everything you need. The nature and wildlife are very well looked after. The people are friendly. I will go again soon. It's a place for just you and your partner and so are family and friends.
It is the ideal accommodation for a weekend away from the busy city.
I will say whether you are looking for something romantic just for you and your partner, or the whole family, this is a place where you can find peace and rest. We will definitely go again!
