It was delicious! Spacious, comfortable, tidy. Owners are very friendly and helpful. The ibex and brown-eared foxes in the field are a pasella. Lucky the sheepdog is adorable.

Had a wonderful stay and slept warm! We simply slept over for 2 nights and had a nice barbecue outside. The second night prepared a large amount of delicious farm food for us. We will definitely stay again.

It was peaceful after a long journey.
Als was as we expected. Milda was very kind to give the whole guest house to our family (8 people) even though we could fit in 2 rooms. It was nice and private. With phase 6 load shedding it's hard everywhere. Fans that can't blow while a heat wave hits the country (40 degrees) is quite a challenge, but we survived.
Website was prompt and accurate with all communications. And guesthouse owners were helpful and everything was fine.
We specifically looked for a place outside the town to spend the night and had a wonderful stay. Everything was well appointed and lacked nothing.
It is the most pleasant overnight stay, quiet and safe. Will come back again anytime.

We were warmly received and our rooms were clean and extremely tidy. We stayed there for 2 nights. The farm dog "Scott" brought good company to our family who, at the end of a holiday, longed for our own little ones. The tranquility is palpable. The rooms are well equipped and the beds slept wonderfully. I would stay there again anytime.

Witkrans is not a place where you should expect luxury, it is practical and also luxurious, it has everything you need for your stopover on the way somewhere. The opulence of Witkrans lies in what it does for your soul, the palpable silence around you, the dazzling stars in the evening, the rest your soul experiences during the night. Milda and Piet, you have luxury here, any city dweller can't just appreciate it, but this one does! For me, Morgenzon was like an oasis in a barren desert. Thank you that I could catch my breath here and build up precious reserves again to take on the road. The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable and cozy. There is everything you need for your stay and Milda is very helpful with anything you need. Rooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Barbecue package for dinner was very nice. More than enough for me, I enjoyed the meat. I will definitely stop here again.
We will definitely stay here again in the future! The quiet and peaceful farm atmosphere and the old-fashioned furniture take one back to bygone times. It's the second time we sleep at Witkrans. The accommodation is very comfortable and the service is excellent. The house is located about 2 km from the tarmac, but the access road is beautiful. The bathroom facilities are beautiful as well as the kitchen and dining room facilities. It is definitely recommendable for those who are on their way through the Karoo. I will definitely stay here again.
The tranquility of the surroundings immediately had a positive effect on our hectic souls from Gauteng.
It is an ideal stopover between Johannesburg and Jeffreys Bay. The people are hospitable, the service is excellent and the silence and starry sky in the Karoo is exceptional.

The farm is perfectly located just outside Middelburg on the Cradock road - about 2 km from the road. The hosts are very hospitable and helpful. With our 3 little girls, the stay was ideal in the spacious house with everything you need for the overnight stay. Should we head to Jeffrey's again, we will definitely stay there again.

Farm life silence and the beautiful nature is what surrounds the farm. The place is perfect for any family from young to old. If you like moonlight and clean air with friendly people, this is the place to sleep over. The beds were so nice and comfortable and then you can also buy a braai pack for a nice braai.

We stayed overnight at Witkrans as part of a tour we are doing around the country (so arrived late afternoon and left early morning). The room was beautiful and well equipped and the farm peaceful. Would not recommend for longer stays. There was no dish sink as part of the room, but for our needs it was really perfect!

The owners were not on site and the shower facilities were awful. The water did not drain. The toilet does not flush when flushed. WiFi would be very welcome as there was no mobile phone reception. The television is very bad quality and DStv is not the best option, as the network hangs all the time. The place is neat and adequate for someone who wants to get away from any hustle and bustle, but not for a quick stopover on the way to Cape Town.

In die rustige natuur. Jy geniet dit net daar dis vir seker. Ek sal enige tyd weer gaan! Dit is 'n lekker rustige Karoo-plek waar tyd stil staan op die plaas, dit is vir seker. Hulle ontbyt is baie goed, probeer dit gerus.
A lovely and peaceful farm atmosphere. The residential unit is nice and spacious and very well equipped. Breakfast is optional, but no one came knocking to see if we would be interested. For a higher price I would recommend an included breakfast.
