We had an awesome stay, away from the crowds. We enjoyed the abundant bird and butterfly life, the stars were amazing, and the night sounds added to the atmosphere. We were very comfortable in the cosy chalet with a beautiful view, and the wood supplied came in very handy. The welcome gifts added a nice touch. We had lovely walks. A high clearance vehicle makes for an easier drive, and it is well signposted. Take a power pack for any charging you need to do.

Everything was just the best. The silence, nature, hospitality, accommodation and rest. It's one of those occasions that you always think back on. Rest for your soul. Beautiful place. Very nice stay. I would only recommend a 4x4. We were almost stuck on the way back home. The road from Dullstroom is okay. Think you'll get stuck on a wet day, but on a sunny day you'll get to the top with a car that's high. The road through Stofberg and Tondeldoos is terrible, and we almost got stuck with a Fortuner. So my suggestion is 4x4.

It's a lovely place and my wife and I had a wonderful time! Wish we could stay longer. And it is close to Dullstroom, so nice to drive around and visit places. The dirt road is only quite rough, so one needs an SUV or 4x4. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

Loved the fenced property, ideal for the dogs. The large camp with dams is ideal for free running the dogs that can have a dip to cool down in clean water. Bring some tick spray and covers for the furniture and all is good to enjoy the surroundings and abundant bird life.

Wonder Waters is a piece of lowland heaven on earth. We lived in the Cosmos unit and everything was nicely decorated and nicely furnished. It's the small special touches such as for example the fresh field of flowers in a vase from the area and the abundance of pre-loaded LED lights that make you realize that your comfort and peaceful visit are indeed the Dietrichs' only wishes. Everything one might need is also provided. The yard is guaranteed to be safe for any four-legged guest, without the supervision and worry of the owners. What's really heavenly about Wonder Waters, not only is there no power, but you go to totally escape, shut down and take in the landscape. If you're a tech junky, don't even consider it, but sometimes it's absolutely necessary to know that you can completely shut down, rest, relax, read and even try your hand at fishing whether you're ' are a beginner or pro. Definitely high on our list of preferences and will go there again regularly to relax and recharge. P.S. make sure you have a high clearance vehicle and don't expect an easy ride in or out. But we would rather not talk about it as the locals say, but that is part of the attraction of Tonteldoos with its beautiful scenery without the influence of modern life.

Wonder Waters Tonteldoos is a very nice for people who want to get away from the busy city life. We enjoyed the tranquility so much that the fact that there was no power was surely the least of our worries. The units are very clean and very well equipped with gas geyser, stove/oven and fridge, all of which work very well. The roads are very bad especially if you want to go to Dullstroom. I suggest this place especially if you don't plan on driving up and down. If you have a telescope, I 100% suggest taking it with you.

What a special experience! Silence whispering in your ears, starry sky that shines so bright that it looks as if you can touch it! The Peach Cabin was superbly equipped in the kitchen, plenty of wood for lovely fireplaces and outdoor braai. Heard the fox cry on Saturday night and enjoyed the bird life along the ponds! The dirt road is a major challenge for sedan cars, but fortunately not for pickups or 4x4s.

It really felt like we were the only people and the farm. Just the fact that the dogs could go along and run around freely made it worth it. The choir of frogs and the call of the foxes at night made is extra special. Thanks, Yolanda, for the help with the fridge's gas!

If you want to take your dogs with you, this is the place to go. They can move around freely in a large camp. The scenery is something from another world. Lighting in the kitchen can be improved.

It's my second time at Wonder Waters. We and our 3 dogs relaxed wonderfully. We could walk around the dams and climb the hill. The silence is all that one needs to reload.

Beautiful and clean! We were surprised with a small bun, butter and jam to welcome us. So are soap, tissues and the cookies! The unit has everything from LED lights, gas stove, fridge and gas geyser for hot water. Also matches, fire lighters and coffee, tea and sugar. Enough blankets and wood in case it gets cold. We ordered quiches from Yolanda as well as a delicious freshly baked bread. It was already there when we arrived with a welcome note. The big cut roads down to the dams are very nice walks and the hike up the hill was wonderful. Our 3 dogs thoroughly enjoyed the free run around. The yard is fenced and a poop scoop is provided to keep the yard clean. The evenings were nice and quiet and the only sounds were those of the foxes calling to each other. We will visit again! Very nice stay!

The accommodation is completely isolated and one's privacy is respected. Little extras like rusks, soap and tissues as well as firewood is provided. The view from the unit is beautiful with dams where you can try and catch trout. It is a place where you go to recharge you batteries and rest. Antjie, the hostess, is very friendly and helpful. We go there quite often over the years and we are never disappointed.

We had a great stay, the location is very nice and private plus the large fenced yard was ideal for our dogs to stay in if we wanted to go away for a while. The house plus yard was very neat and really well equipped. The walking paths plus trout ponds are also neatly maintained. Very nice location plus lots of wild animals and birds to see on the farm. I would definitely stay at Wonder Waters again.

We will definitely be going there again soon. It's breathtakingly beautiful. There is virtually no cell phone signal and because there is no electricity, one can really relax. Our dogs enjoyed it just as much. Hendrik's fishing experience was particularly good. He caught 8 fish, of which we kept 4, the rest he released. The road there is a bit bad, so it's better to go with a bakkie, or high vehicle.

It is an isolated place where you can find peace and tranquility, away from the city noice. However if you looking for 5 star accommodation this is not a place for you if you looking for a quiet, simple and peaceful get away, this is the place for you.

The cottage is very neat and my wife and I and 2 poodles slept and visited wonderfully. We actually enjoyed it without electricity. They provide quite a few LED lanterns and we made use of them. The cabin is very nicely equipped and has everything, from pots, pans, braai facilities to camping chairs, etc. The fridge, stove and geyser work with gas and were very convenient. All negative point of the weekend was the bad dirt road we had to drive. Fortunately, I have a bakkie, so my bakkie was not damaged. But when we saw the view and the cabin, we completely forgot about the bad dirt road. The cabin was neatly camped out and our dogs could run around. The view is breathtakingly beautiful with 2 x trout ponds in the background. Unfortunately I didn't catch any trout. We didn't see or hear any cars, and no other people. It really was the perfect getaway weekend for me, my wife and 2 dogs. And we slept wonderfully and rested too. Dullstroom and Tonteldoos really have a soft spot in my heart. We will definitely go there again. And hopefully catch a trout or 3.

We enjoyed our stay at Wonder Waters so much! Our 2 little doggies enjoyed the walks (without leads of course) so much! The premises are big and properly fences so that we didn't have to worry about our dogs. The natural beauty is astounding and the silence is something us city slickers aren't used to! The accommodation was very clean and neat - we were really impressed by that. Otherwise it was well equipped with gas and there are enough battery lights to kill the darkness. I will recommend Wonder Waters to anyone!

It was the perfect getaway from the city and noise. Nice and quiet, very nice view. We saw 3 foxes which was a highlight. Another highlight was that we had a bat in the cabin one night and let it go. Was nice in nature, we took our dog with us - he had a proper holiday. I would only recommend that people drive 4x4 on the dirt road and not small light vehicles, especially when it's raining. The dirt road was challenging, we went with a Ford Figo. Will definitely go there again in the future.

Accommodation very neat and clean. The dirt road between Dullstroom and Tonteldoos, as well as the last few kilos to the accommodation, is terribly ugly, and led to a flat tyre. You definitely need a tall car or 4x4. We were not informed about anything. Wonder Waters should definitely add that to their description!
