We arrived in Plett in the evening and our host was most caring in making sure we got into the place and were safe. Also sent us links of places to visit and made our stay more eventful.
The hostess was very friendly and upon arrival recommended a few places for us to see. The information for check-in was sent to us well in advance. The place itself is nice and big and tidy, and there are even lamps for when it is charging. Cute and affordable, thank you very much!

The place was very nicely laid out with the rooms on both sides of the kitchen and living area. The bathrooms are also very convenient right next to the rooms. The kitchen is spacious and the gas stove helped when there was load shedding to be able to make coffee. The patio area is nicely furnished and the view over the marsh was very nice. Very helpful and recommended us places to eat. There was some noise that could be heard from the road, but it quieted down late in the evening. Would recommend for travelers who just want to stay overnight and stay out of Plett, which is not too far away.
We had a great stay, and will recommend this cottage to anyone.

Claire was an awesome host. We did not get to meet her, but she stayed in touch constantly to update us about the load-shedding schedule and the weather. She also sent us recommendations for restaurants. We will definitely return.
Nice and comfortable - we immediately felt at home. We enjoyed early mornings and meals at the table on the deck, listening to the birds. Easy access to Plett and nearby activities. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are comfortable.

The cottage is perfect for 4 adults for a weekend getaway. Had a great stay and slept well. The wooden deck's view and tranquility are the highlight. Access to the parking is not restricted, so safety may be an issue. The N2 noise was not disturbing, but audible right through the night. Amenities are pleasant and we would definitely stay here again.
We were satisfied with the value for money and cleanliness of the accommodation.
My suggestion: Parking should be more secure and also housing unit. We are Transvaal farm boys and felt at home. It is also excellent.
Woodpecker, offers excellent value for money is ideally located on the Garden Route, the unit is clean and well appointed. Management is very helpful and friendly and I would very much like to spend more time here. Can wholeheartedly recommend the accommodation.

Reception was not 100%, (no one was there to receive us) but it was fixed within 20 minutes and from the moment we moved into the cottage everything was great. Unfortunately, the place is almost right next to the main road, but fortunately you are not even aware of it when you close the back door and hang out on the front deck. Very well equipped and beautifully furnished, very peaceful atmosphere.
